Paperless Meeting In early July 2002, I flew from summer to winter in Australia to attend the 15th World Congress of Sociology in Brisbane, Australia. More than 2,000 attendees. Divided by 53 latitude and longitude plus 38 groups. At least four or five topics are discussed each day in each group. In other words, there are over 2,000 questions to be discussed at the seven-day conference. It is spectacular! One participant, even with the avatar method, can only participate in the discussion of a dozen or so questions, at best only one percent of them. Being absent and disorganized is a long-standing problem that has plagued large-scale international academic conferences. This world sociology conference can solve this problem.
