1996年6月至8月,一种名为“0-157”的大肠杆菌搅得日本国上下不安,足足横行猖獗了两个多月。这种危险的肠道传染病从冈山的一所小学发始,以迅猛之势蔓延到日本44个都道府县,患者人数上万,死亡9人。日本首相也被迫停下手中的繁杂事务,召开紧急内阁会议,商讨对付“0-157”的对策。
Between June and August 1996, a strain of Escherichia coli called “0-157” stirred up the unease in Japan, which was rampant for more than two months. The dangerous intestinal infectious disease started from a primary school in Okayama and spread rapidly to 44 prefectures in Japan with tens of thousands of patients and 9 deaths. Japanese Prime Minister was also forced to stop the hands of the complicated affairs, held an emergency cabinet meeting to discuss countermeasures “0-157”.
