在摄影作为一种观景窗与快门艺术的年代里,张照堂也许是台湾摄影史里,艺术境界最高的一位摄影家。翻开张照堂的摄影履历,洋洋洒洒不一而足:他从1958年就开始拍照,至今未歇宝刀不老,已整整半个世纪;他50年来有至少30次以上的摄影个展、联展和策展纪录,得奖无数,同时从事电视片、纪录片与剧情片的创作、策展与教学;他策划、主编、撰写多种台湾摄影家的丛书,与摄影主题的专书。
In the era of photography as a viewing window and shutter art, Zhang Zhaotang may be the highest artistic photographer in Taiwan’s photography history.
