JPEG2000采用多种技术来实现其特点,其中的关键技术之一就是ROI(感兴趣区域)处理,它能够在一幅图像内实现多种质量的压缩。论文介绍了ROI技术的编码算法思想,实现了MAXSHIFT方法尺度值S的选择,提出了ROI掩膜的生成方法即回溯法,最后通过实验对有两个ROI的图像进行编码比较,获得了较好的压缩比和峰值噪声比。
JPEG2000 uses several technologies to realize its characteristics. One of the key technologies is ROI (Region of Interest) processing, which can achieve a variety of quality compression in an image. This paper introduces the coding algorithm of ROI technology, realizes the selection of the metric value S for the MAXSHIFT method, proposes the generation method of the ROI mask, that is, the backtracking method.
