台湾目前栽培最多的是俗称南洋种的粉红色莲雾 ,该品种果型大、最早熟 ,因而最具经济价值。虽然台湾各地均有栽培 ,但主要产地则集中在屏东地区。近几年由于栽培管理技术的进步 ,品质不断提升 ,产地逐步扩大 ,高品质莲雾产期从 1 1月～翌年 4月 ,且有不断延长的趋势 ,台湾周年 Taiwan is currently cultivated is commonly known as the Nanyang species of pink lotus fog, the variety of large fruit type, the earliest cooked, and thus the most economic value.
