委婉语主要就是通过运用委婉的语言和文雅的方式来表达自身情感的一种方式,由于我国的文化与国外相比具有很大的差异,也正是因为这种文化的差异而导致中西方在委婉语方面存在着较大的不同。但是在现如今的社会当中,我国与国外的文化在不断的进行着交流,中西方文化在激烈碰撞的同时也在不断的进行着融合。下面笔者首先将会针对中西方委婉语的构成进行简单的分析,然后对中西方委婉语的主要功能和中西方委婉语的主要翻译方法进行具体的论述,最后对中西文化差异下的委婉语的学习进行阐述。 Euphemism is mainly a way of expressing one’s own emotions through the use of euphemistic language and elegant manner.
