文学概念的界定,对于文学研究而言具有重要的意义,但在对“加拿大新移民华文小说”的界定中,却因时空、主体、语言、文体等因素的限制,呈现出一些遮蔽与无奈;学界对加拿大新移民华文小说的研究始于上个世纪90年代末,并在以个别作家为主体的个案研究取得了一定的成就,但相对于加拿大新移民华文小说不断取得的创作实绩而言,相关研究存有个案研究不均衡、“同一”追求中的“差异”消弭、整体研究的缺失等局限。
The definition of the concept of literature is of great significance to the study of literature. However, in the definition of “Chinese immigrants in Canadian novels,” there are some limitations on the definition of Chinese novel, such as time and space, subject, language and style. Helplessly, the study on Chinese new immigrants in Chinese started in the late 1990s and some achievements have been made in the case studies of individual writers. However, compared with the continuous achievements of Canadian immigrants in Chinese novels, There are some limitations in related researches such as unbalanced case studies, elimination of “differences” in the “same” pursuit, and lack of overall research.
