我厂生产的薄壁复杂件 CA-15气缸盖最薄处壁厚5.5mm,最厚处螺栓孔搭子φ24mm。材质为 HT20—40,铸件重37kg。水套泥芯用合脂砂。采用垂直阻流式浇注系统,在气缸盖螺栓孔搭子的底箱外型部位安放冷铁,使铸件保持同时凝固。潮模平浇平冷。铸件经加机工后,要求在3~4kg/cm~2水压下保持3分钟不得渗漏。我厂的渗漏率较高,有时竟达到70~80%。后来,采用了严格控制炉料、提高铁水出炉温度、用稀土合金处理铁水、加强炉前孕育处理、适当低温快浇、改进砂芯结构和取消外冷铁等综合措
