走近利物浦 城市小景 在英格兰的西北部,倘徉着一个美丽的港口城市——利物浦。 怡人的海洋性气候,均匀而至的雨水,恒定舒适的气温,书写着利物浦诱人的四季。 利物浦是一个历史悠久的城市,建城时间相当于中国的清代。最有趣的是,它的海岸面貌同中国的上海非常相似,而且城中竟然有着欧洲最古老的中国城。算起来,利物浦与中国的贸易也是源远流长,可上溯至清朝年间。 利物浦更是一个充满艺术气息的城市,城内建筑独具风格,有著名的大教堂、市政厅、圣乔治大厅、大剧院和音乐厅。位于威廉布朗街的沃长美术博物馆是伦敦以外最大的美术博物馆,展出着15-18世纪各国著名画家的名作。
Getting to Liverpool City The small town is in the north west of England, with the beautiful harbor city of Liverpool. Pleasant maritime climate, even the rain, constant comfort temperature, writing Liverpool attractive seasons. Liverpool is a city with a long history, equivalent to China’s Qing Dynasty time. Most interestingly, its coastline is very similar to that of Shanghai, China, and the city has the oldest Chinatown in Europe. Looking back, the trade between Liverpool and China is also a long history dating back to the Qing Dynasty. Liverpool is more a city full of art, the city’s architectural style, the famous Cathedral, City Hall, St. George’s Hall, the Grand Theater and the concert hall. The Wool Museum of Fine Arts on William Brown Street, the largest art museum outside London, features masterpieces by famous artists from the 15th and 18th centuries.
