从美国次贷危机开始的国际金融和经济危机爆发以来,本刊已刊载过一些外国政要、学者对这次危机以及与造成这次危机密切相关的新自由主义思潮的评述与反思文章。现在,危机仍在美国、欧洲国家和其他一些国家与地区蔓延。尤其是美欧主要经济体不仅还看不到经济复苏的明显迹象,甚至还有向长期衰退演变并向社会危机(如以“占领华尔街”等为口号的民众“占领运动”已在美国和许多西方国家发生)、政治危机(如由于应对经济危机的失败已导致一些西方国家政府领导人下台)演变的趋势。因此,引起越来越多的外国人士对这场空前严重的危机和泛滥多年的新自由主义的进一步研究与反思,有些评述文章已深入触及到了西方资本主义制度的基本矛盾及其本质和种种弊病。本刊将以《外国有关人士对国际经济危机和新自由主义的评述与反思》为题,再陆续摘登一些国外有关方面的文章,供研究参阅。本期摘登由闻言实同志提供的美国、法国、、英国、日本的四位学者的文章:《全球的经济危机其实质是一场政治经济危机》、《西方资本主义的三宗“原罪”》、《欧洲资本主义危机》、《美国新自由主义理论的穷途末路》。
