1984至1986年,郴州地区文物工作队为了配合基本建设抢救性清理发掘古墓葬共80座,其中东周墓8座,编号为84郴电 M1、85郴八M5、85郴地建 M4、85郴八 M9、85郴八 M6、84郴高 M6、85郴八 M7、84郴收 M1。现将发掘情况简报如下。一、墓葬形制这批墓葬分布在郴州市内东区、南区地势较高的地方,埋在第四纪红色网纹土层中,均属小型竖穴土坑墓。在其周围还发现有汉代和晋代墓葬。由于基建施工,原地面情况不清楚,墓室残存深度不一。按照墓坑
