As a masterpiece of feminist literature, Jane Eyre provides us with the possibility of multi-perspective interpretation, and has been on the screen many times. It is possible to interpret Bertha from the perspective of feminism or to read Bertha from the perspective of postcolonial feminism, and to bring more interpretation to Jane Eyre on BBC 2006 edition. One is to highlight the image of feminism, one is to hide the crazy women in the colonies, especially in a comparative interpretation of the two, we can better see director Suzanne White in the highlight and hidden behind the interpretation of the film text connotation.
