中国期刊协会第二届理事会决定,在全国精神文明先进单位开展赠建“全国百家期刊阅览室”活动。刊协从全国几千种期刊中精选部分期刊,由指定单位接受百家期刊的赠刊并成立专门阅览室。《世界知识》为这项活动组委会指定的入选期刊,本社另两刊也参加了赠刊。 The second council of China Association of Periodicals decided to carry out the donation of “National 100 Periodicals Reading Room” in the advanced units of spiritual civilization nationwide. Journal Association selected a few journals from thousands of journals in the whole country, received 100 periodical publications and set up special reading room by designated units. World Knowledge was the designated journals designated by the Organizing Committee for this event. Two other editions of CCS also participated in the publication.
