将一种具有自组装特性的新型POSS核凝胶因子添加到含有偶氮苯光响应剂的液晶基体中,获得具有高Tsg(凝胶-溶胶转变温度)和抗张强度的超强液晶物理凝胶。偶氮苯光响应剂赋予该液晶物理凝胶波长响应特性,液晶基体赋予其温度响应特性,所获液晶物理凝胶不同的响应状态之间具有显著的对比度差异,使其无需使用传统液晶显示器中必不可少的偏振片也能显示出清晰的图像信息。偏振片的省去极大地简化了显示器件的结构,使得该液晶物理凝胶超强的力学性能得以充分利用,用以制备一种新型的可拉伸液晶显示器件,该显示器件在拉伸到原始长度的145%时仍能清晰地显示原有的图像信息。由于该器件的制备过程简单,可以通过包括滴涂、旋涂以及高温喷涂等在内的传统加工工艺制备获得,相信全拉伸型液晶显示器件在将来可以获得广泛的应用。
A novel POSS nuclear factor with self-assembly properties was added to a liquid crystal matrix containing azobenzene photo-responsive agent to obtain a super-liquid crystal physical condensate with high Tsg (gel-sol transition temperature) and tensile strength glue. The azobenzene photoreactive agent gives the liquid crystal the physical wavelength response characteristics of the liquid crystal, the liquid crystal substrate gives its temperature response characteristics, and the obtained liquid crystal physical gels have significant difference in contrast between different response states, making it unnecessary to use traditional liquid crystal displays The essential polarizer also shows clear image information. The omission of the polarizer greatly simplifies the structure of the display device and makes full use of the superior mechanical properties of the liquid crystal physical gel in order to prepare a novel stretchable liquid crystal display device which, after being stretched to 145% of the original length still clearly shows the original image information. Due to the simple preparation process of the device, it can be prepared by conventional processing technologies including drop coating, spin coating and high temperature spraying. It is believed that the fully-stretched liquid crystal display device can be widely used in the future.
