金县蔬菜生产担负着供应本县城镇和大连市商品菜的任务,在发展露地蔬菜生产的同时,温室和塑料大棚也有了发展。但是,大棚单纯栽培黄瓜产值不高,露地生产辣椒,病害严重,产量低,供应期短,是急待解决的问题。为了探索在不影响黄瓜正常生育的前提下,黄瓜与辣椒集约栽培,提高土地利用,改善辣椒的环境条件,减轻病害,增加产量,延长供应期的可能性。我们于1982年开始,进行了塑料大棚黄瓜套作辣椒的试验研究。采取边试验,边推广的方法,到1986年套作面积已达1713.5亩,增加产值140万元。
