茶的健康效应是其从最初作为药用发展到世界性饮料的一个重要原因,其研究也是当今世界性重要研究课题。大量的流行病学调查、体外实验和动物模型研究表明茶与其功效成分对包括癌症、心血管疾病、神经退行性疾病等诸多危害人体健康的疾病具有潜在的防治功效。同时,随着研究的深入,茶叶健康功效的作用机理也被逐渐厘清。这些研究成果为茶与健康临床试验的开展提供了科学支撑,而相关临床数据是决定能否将茶叶开发为药物造福人类的最直接证据。
The health effect of tea is an important reason for its development from medicinal to world-wide beverage. Its research is also an important research topic in the world today. A large number of epidemiological studies, in vitro experiments and animal models show that tea and its active ingredients have potential preventive and therapeutic effects on many diseases that endanger human health, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases and neurodegenerative diseases. At the same time, with the deepening of research, the mechanism of the tea’s health function has also been gradually clarified. These findings provide scientific support for the development of clinical trials of tea and health, and the relevant clinical data are the most direct evidence to determine whether tea can be developed into a medicine for the benefit of human beings.
