Apoptosis is a kind of universal biological phenomenon. It is necessary to maintain the environmental stability of the organism and complements the cell division and proliferation. It is involved in the physiological and pathological processes of the organism. The modern theory of oncology believes that in the process of tumorigenesis There are not only abnormal cell division and proliferation factors, but also apoptotic factors of cells. Both Bcl-2 and Bax are apoptosis-related genes, and their expression in osteosarcoma has not been reported, but osteosarcoma is the most common one. Malignant bone tumors, mostly in adolescents, have poor prognosis. The changes in tissue morphology alone cannot accurately assess the prognosis of osteosarcoma. We studied the expression of Bcl-2 and Bax in 51 cases of different clinical behavioral osteosarcomas and investigated osteosarcoma. The relationship between apoptosis and prognosis.
