诗话在元好问研究史上,占据重要地位。如宋韦居安《梅磵诗话》、明瞿佑《归田诗话》、明都穆《南濠诗话》、清王士祯《带经堂诗话》、清翁方纲《石洲诗话》等,大都具有重要的史料价值,引起过研究者的广泛关注。相比较而言,近现代学者撰著之诗话,利用则比较薄弱。其实,这些后出的诗话,亦散存大量的遗山研究资料,如加以蒐辑、整理、利用,既可使遗山及其作品传播与接受的历史链条趋于完整,又可觇近世诗风趣尚之流变。这一文学史料学的拓展,对当下的元好问研究,不无启发意义。
