Resource Modeling and Cargos Tracking Service in Logistics Resource Grid Based on WSRF

Constructing the Logistics Resource Grid (LRG) based on Web Service Resource Framework (WSRF) is beneficial to sharing resources and dealing with stateful resources. Specific resources in the LRG include transport, warehouse, loading and unloading resources. Resource description includes static and dynamic resources. Static attributes are the inherit attributes of logistics resources and remain invariant in the logistics business process. But dynamic attributes reflect the state of logistics resources and are real-time traced and maintained, and are treated as stateful WS-Resource. Resource modeling includes information tables about user, logistics resources, invoice and transportation. This paper takes example for a cargos tracking service of the logistics grid to illustrate attributes for stateful resources and resources properties as well as how to create service logic and add port types to the service.
