Audley Howard is a black, lesbian and feminist who, as a brave female warrior, has been using her multiple identities as a banner of fighting for justice and equality for marginalized individuals. In her autobiographical cancer diary, she treats an incurable body as a battlefield of self-analysis and environmental concern and calls for self-healing breast cancer patients through crying, calling on women to interpret social oppression through their bodies. At the same time, her Cancer Diary is considered as a precursor to “Physical Biography ”. The author of this book links the causes of cancer with the ecological crisis and provides people with a better understanding of the material exchange relationship between the body and the environment in the future Realistic basis.
