2008年2月21日,中国个体劳动者协会下发了《关于开展向全国文明诚信个体工商户学习活动的通知》,要求各省、自治区、直辖市及计划单列市、副省级市个体劳动者协会、私营企业协会展开向“全国百名文明诚信个体工商户”学习的活动。2007年12月,由人事部、国家工商行政管理总局、中央文明办和中国个体劳动者协会共同评选的首批100名全国文明诚信个体工商户,在北京人民大会堂受到表彰。这100名全国文明诚信个体工商户无愧为中国特色社会主义建设者,他们讲文明、重诚信的优秀品质反映了社会发展进步的时代精神,树立了新形势下个体工商户的良好形象,对推动社会主义精神文明建设发挥了重要作用。为了更好地发挥这些先进典型的示范作用,影响和带动更多的个体工商户发展进步,进一步在全社会形成知荣辱、讲正气、促和谐的良好风尚,把群众性精神文明创建活动引向深入,从本期起,本刊《光彩照人》栏目将陆续推出他们的故事,以飨读者。
