The Fashion Museum project is located in the Omotesando remodeling area in Tokyo. On the one hand, it is located in the lower area and becomes the landmark of the city. On the other hand, it produces the contrast effect through this obvious difference. Conventional tower configuration will have a hierarchy. To avoid fractures and spatial discrepancies, the design uses a scalable concept and differentiable ribbon structure to make a continuous structure. The banded structure resembles a clover knot, echoing the history of fashion and is hard to be cut apart. Slopes provide a handicapped entrance for people with a gradient of 6%. This ramp system exists throughout the tower and provides a continuous user interface that allows people to feel the chronology of the fashion industry from the early 1900s to the early 2000s.
