极简主义是第二次世界大战之后60年代所兴起的一个艺术派系,它将事物以初始本原状态呈现到人们面前,从而弱化甚至消除作者通过作品传达给人们的强制和压抑属性,进一步打开作品的艺术想象空间。当人们看到作品时,可以调动主观能动性,对其进行重新建构,完成从观者到作者的不特定转变,使每一件作品更加彰显独一无二的个性,打上独特性烙印。极简主义以简单到极致为追求,是一种设计风格,在视觉传达上呈现出简约整洁的风格,整体品味和思想上更为优雅。
Minimalism is an art faction that emerged in the 1960s after the Second World War.
