REMUS-6000无人水下机器人由美国海军海洋地质局、海军科研工作局和伍兹霍尔海洋研究所(Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution)三家联合研制,用来开展深海自主作业。REMUS-6000无人水下机器人配置的软件和电子子系统同REMUS-100上的一样,这些软件和电子子系统在REMUS-100上得到了验证并取得了巨大成绩。但是,其工作深度增加到了6 000 m。截至目前为止REMUS-6000已经出售了近10套了。
The REMUS-6000 unmanned underwater robot was developed jointly by the US Navy’s Bureau of Marine Geology, the Naval Research Agency, and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to carry out deep-sea autonomous operations. The software and electronics subsystems of the REMUS-6000 unmanned underwater robot are the same as on the REMUS-100, and the software and electronics subsystems have been validated on the REMUS-100 and have achieved great results. However, its depth of work has increased to 6,000 m. The REMUS-6000 has sold nearly 10 units so far.
