‘胭脂蜜’是在石岩杜鹃(Rhododendron obtusum)品种‘大鸳鸯锦’中发现的芽变新品种,花冠直径4～6cm,花萼瓣化为套筒,植株大小中等,耐高温高湿,长势强健。花色由母本的白色撒玫红条纹变异为纯正艳丽的玫红色。
