我省是桃的原产地之一,栽培历史悠久,劳动人民培育出不少优良品种和品系,资源十分丰富。鹰嘴桃则是近年发掘的优良制罐品种。糖水桃罐头是我省罐头工业中重点发展的品种,但由于缺乏适宜罐藏的优良品种,影响了罐桃产量和质量,致使我省的糖水桃罐头在全国产量中所占比例很低。为解决这一问题,经过我们在本省重点桃产区品种资源的调查和筛选,及两年来的观察和罐藏试验,说明鹰嘴桃是符合制罐要求的好品种,现将其特征特性和加工性能简介如下:一、生物学和植物学特征特性观察:(一)物候期:3月中旬萌芽,3月下旬至4月初开花,7月中旬成熟。
