婺源程允中家族自康雍之际兴起，成为当地著名的科举世家。以《清代卷集成》所载程允中珠卷履历为经，乾隆等三种《婺源县志》为纬，通过程氏家族九代近百人的传记资料，论述程氏族人在修建公共工程、从事文化教育和兴办公益善举等等活动中的表现，进而得出我们的结论：科举世家是清代地方官在行政事务中的主要依靠力量。
