每年农历八月十八日的钱塘江观潮,自古以来,一直是杭州的一大胜事。汹涌澎湃的钱塘江大潮,与美丽的西湖一样,也成了历代骚人墨客吟咏的重要题材。在古代诗词中,留下了不少吟咏钱塘江大潮的名篇名作。然而描写钱塘江大潮的曲则不多见,元代散曲家贯云石的[双调·落梅风]可谓是以散曲的形式来描写钱塘江大潮的名作。这首曲是作者隐居杭州期间写下的,全曲如下:
