在一个间距呈正弦分布的、各向同性辐射器的对称阵列上,采用基座型的升高余弦幅度分布,产生了旁瓣电平为-33dB的窄波束。保持其幅度分布不变,用附加的非线性相位分布,把该窄波束变换成所需宽度的扇形波束。这种非线性相位分布用平稳相位方法算出。本文试图研究在对称阵列中,辐射单元的正弦间距排列对所要求波束形状的影响。还同时绘制了这种阵列以及具有相同单元数的等间距阵列的辐射方向图。
Using a base-type raised cosine amplitude distribution on a symmetrical array of sinusoidally-distributed, isotropic radiators produces a narrow beam with a sidelobe level of -33 dB. Keeping the amplitude distribution unchanged, the narrow beam is transformed to a fan beam of the desired width with an additional non-linear phase distribution. This non-linear phase distribution is calculated by the stationary phase method. This article attempts to investigate the effect of the sinusoidal spacing of the radiating elements on the desired beam shape in a symmetrical array. This array is also plotted along with the radiation pattern for an equally spaced array of the same number of cells.
