柳宗宣的诗基本上是以流转的视角,描述着流转的人群和风景。他对所谓“叙事性”没有太大的兴趣,也似乎并不特别强调诗的高亢的抒情性。他的音调始终保持在一个较低的调质上。他可能更看重诗在生活经验传达上的适度和限度,他对语词和诗行分寸感的把握和控制是令人赞赏的。
Liu Zongxuan’s poetry is basically based on the perspective of circulation, depicting the circulation of the crowd and scenery. He did not have much interest in the so-called “narrative ” and did not seem to particularly emphasize the poetic lyricism. His tone always stays on a lower temperament. He may pay more attention to the moderation and limitation of poetry in the communication of his experience of life. His admiration and control over the sense of proportion of words and poem lines are admirable.
