应国际图书(新)有限公司的邀请,笔者随广西科技出版社业务访谈组于6月3日至10日在素有狮城之称的新加坡进行了访问。时逢新加坡举办华族文化节,我们便重点参观了作为文化节活动之一的世界华文书展。新加坡世界华文书展是全球规模较大的一个中文书籍展览会,首届始于1986年,以后每年举办一次,今年是其第8届。本届书展从5月29日开幕到6月6日闭幕,历时9天,参展的外商和出版单位主要来自香港、中国大陆和台湾。参观书展的人数达47万多人次。销售码洋达到430万新加坡币(按官方汇率1:3.5换算约为1500多万元人民币)。这次书展有以下几个方面引人注目: 一、销量最大的首推儿童读物;其次是工具书,以及有关人文科学、医药保健和文化艺术的书籍。新加坡的读者对中国地图和中医图书较
At the invitation of International Books (Xinyu) Co., Ltd., the author interviewed the business interview group with Guangxi Science and Technology Press from June 3 to June 10 in Singapore, known as Lion City. At the time when the Chinese Culture Festival was held in Singapore, we focused on visiting the World Chinese Book Fair, one of the festival activities. Singapore World Chinese Book Fair is a large-scale global Chinese book fair, the first began in 1986, held once a year, this year is its eighth. The current book fair from May 29 to June 6 closing, which lasted 9 days, the exhibitors of foreign and publishing units mainly from Hong Kong, mainland China and Taiwan. More than 470,000 people visited the book fair. Sales yangyang reached 4.3 million Singaporean dollars (according to the official exchange rate of 1: 3.5 conversion is about more than 15 million yuan). The book fair attracts attention in the following areas: First, the largest volume of sales of children’s books; followed by reference books, and books on humanities, medicine, health and culture and arts.
