单元试卷中有这样一道填空题:“把一条绳子对折再对折,然后从中间剪开,一共可以剪成()段。”卷面上的答案可谓五花八门,但大体上有三种:3段、4段和5段。其实,这种题目不仅在低中年级,也常在高年级出现,甚至于在奥数竞赛中也常出现,只不过是对折的次数不同罢了。既然这种题型出现的频率较高,而学生答题的正确率又很低,何不作为实践活动的第一手素材,引导学生探究一下这个问题呢?于是,我事先布置学生准备好剪刀、羊毛线(代替绳子)等工具和材料,下一节就上数学实践活动课———《剪绳子问题》。
