岳阳是湖南唯一的港口城市,是长江经济走廊“承东启西”的中继站。上海浦东开发与三峡工程上马,给岳阳提供了一次历史性机遇。新近,岳阳又被国家列为享受沿海开放城市政策的长江沿岸城市之一,全市上下更感紧迫。伴着境内外纷至沓来的脚步声,市领导意识到自己既然已被推进开放的大潮,要么奋起一搏,在浪尖弄潮;要么被大浪吞没,归于沉寂。看来,现实供决策者选择的余地不太多了。 Yueyang is the only port city in Hunan and a relay station to the east of Yangtze River Economic Corridor. Shanghai Pudong Development and the Three Gorges Project launched, providing Yueyang with a historic opportunity. Recently, Yueyang has been listed as one of the cities along the Yangtze River in the coastal open city policy by the country, making the city more urgent. Accompanied by the pace of domestic and foreign footsteps, city leaders realized that since they have been pushed to open the tide, either at a stroke, waves in the tide; or swallowed by waves, at silence. It seems that there is not much room for policymakers to choose from reality.
