设计以不同光照强度和pH值等生态因子栽培绞股蓝,当相对照度为39.85%~80.39%时,为绞股蓝生长发育适宜光照,尤以相对照度为64.93%~74.51%时,干物质积累最多,总皂甙含量最高,果实和种子量最大;当相对照度>80%或<40%时,干物质积累量大幅度下降,总皂甙含量较低,且当年不能开花结果。在pH值为5.5~8.0的完全培养液(MS)中,绞股蓝茎段均能成活,而以pH值为6.5~7.0时生长发育最佳,并于秋天开花结果,总皂甙含量较高;而在pH值<5.5或>8.0时,其插条先后枯黄而死。
