A simple method of immobilizing acetylcholinesterase on the spheres of SnSe2 to detect phoxim was described. SnSe2 hollow spheres were synthesized by hydrothermal method and characterized by transmission electron microscopy. The immobilized acetylcholinesterase retained its biological activity, Catalyzed the acetylcholine choline, choline is oxidized to produce a detectable signal.Based on phoxim on acetylcholinesterase activity inhibition of this mechanism, under ideal conditions, the linear range of this sensor for phoxim detection is 0.008 ~ 56μg / mL, the detection limit is 0.004μg / mL.The new sensor has good stability and reproducibility.This work shows that SnSe2 hollow spheres can be used as an ideal carrier of acetylcholinesterase and used to construct the corresponding sensor .
