九月,木兰围场秋色班(火阑)。孟滦林管局五道沟林区一场筑路会战正在进行。彩旗飘飘,由十一个单位组成的修路团队在这里安营扎寨;炮声隆隆,由400余名林业干部职工组成的修路大军正在劈山采石;马达阵阵,三十多辆机动车穿梭往来。19公里的五道沟林区公路在建设者的汗水中一寸寸筑就。今年六月,河北省人民政府批准建立了滦河上游自然保护区。作为六大管理区之一的五道沟管理区,地处小滦河畔,这里森林植被茂密,野生动植物资源丰富,天然状态完整,分布着华北地区典型的天然混交林植物群落,是滦河上游的主要水源涵养地和森林资源考察、林业科学研究的理想场所,又具有广阔的生态旅游开发前景。滦河上游自然保护区建立后,保护区的基础设施建设被列入首要工作日程,五道
