展示空间是博物馆展示活动所要进行的场所,是设计师发挥自己的创造力的场所。空间主要有两方面的作用,一种是满足功能上的要求,另一种是满足情感上的要求即审美要求,所以一个好的博物馆展示空间必须是能给观众以美的享受,精神上的震撼力的空间,同时提供给观众以一个地方具有文化气息的感受。什么样的空间才是美的空间,什么样的展示空间才能给观众对地方文化能够来个彻底的浏览与认识,才是能给人以精神上的震撼力的空间呢。在博物馆展示空间设计的时候,设计师需要考虑将地域性的元素融合于展示内容中。
