一、引言奥斯卡·王尔德(Oscar Wilde,1854—1900)是英国著名的作家、诗人、戏剧家。他是唯美主义的代表人物,反对功利主义,提倡“为艺术而艺术”。《夜莺与玫瑰》以爱情为题材,创造了一个纯美的夜莺形象。一个年轻学生自认为爱上了教授的女儿,渴望得到一朵红玫瑰来赢得姑娘的芳心。可是冬日的花园里找不到他想要的玫瑰。正在他感到悲伤和绝望的时候,一只夜莺决定用自己的歌声成全他所信仰的真爱。即使她得知必须用鲜血和生命换来一朵红玫瑰也无所畏
I. Introduction Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) is a famous English writer, poet and dramatist. He is a representative of aestheticism, opposed to utilitarianism, and advocated “art for art.” “Nightingale and Rose” to love as the theme, creating a pure nightingale image.
