语间负迁移指母语对第二语习得所产生的阻碍作用。汉英思维方式的巨大差异反映在汉英语言结构上,表现为语言本身的不同以及语言使用的差别。中国英语专业学生的汉译英过程具有双语特征。他们在将中文文本转化为英文文本的过程中始终会收到语间负迁移的影响。本文拟从汉英民族思维模式差异入手,研究汉英语言的差别,分析这种差别所引起的英语专业学生在汉译英过程中有代表性的一般问题。从而探讨汉英语间负迁移对英语专业学生汉译英的影响,并找出将这种影响最小化的对策。
Negative language transfer refers to the hindrance of the mother tongue to the second language acquisition. The huge differences in Chinese-English thinking styles are reflected in the Chinese-English language structure, manifested by differences in language and differences in language use. Chinese English majors’ Chinese-to-English translation process has bilingual features. In the process of converting Chinese texts into English texts, they always receive the influence of negative inter-language migration. This article intends to start with the difference of Chinese and English national thinking patterns, study the differences between Chinese and English languages, and analyze the general problems that English major students have in the Chinese-English translation process. This paper discusses the influence of the negative transfer between Chinese and English on the English translation of English majors, and finds the countermeasures to minimize this effect.
