研究八钼酸铵和硼酸锌对膨胀阻燃乙丙橡胶阻燃性能的影响。氧指数及垂直燃烧等级测试结果表明八钼酸铵和硼酸锌的加入均能提高膨胀阻燃乙丙橡胶的氧指数及垂直燃烧等级,其中硼酸锌的阻燃性能更优。马弗炉烧蚀实验表明,八钼酸铵和硼酸锌的加入促进体系成炭。锥形量热仪分析表明,在添加15份的情况下,硼酸锌/膨胀阻燃乙丙橡胶的平均热释放速率、峰值热释放速率、总生烟速率、CO和CO_2生成率分别比八钼酸铵低17.68%、15.48%、6.21%、21.61%和8.21%。其机理为硼酸锌的加入提高了体系的成炭量,促使炭层更密实,延缓了热、氧及可燃挥发物的扩散。
The effect of ammonium octamolybdate and zinc borate on the flame retardancy of intumescent flame retardant ethylene-propylene rubber was studied. Oxygen index and vertical combustion test results show that the addition of ammonium octamolybdate and zinc borate can improve the oxygen index and vertical burning rate of the expanded flame retardant ethylene-propylene rubber, of which zinc borate has better flame retardancy. Muffle furnace ablation experiments showed that the addition of ammonium octamolybdate and zinc borate promoted charcoal formation. Cone calorimeter analysis showed that the average heat release rate, peak heat release rate, total smoke generation rate, CO and CO 2 formation rate of zinc borate / intumescent flame retardant ethylene-propylene rubber increased with the addition of 15 parts, Ammonium formate is 17.68%, 15.48%, 6.21%, 21.61% and 8.21% lower. The mechanism of the addition of zinc borate improves the carbon formation of the system, promotes the denser carbon layer, and delays the diffusion of heat, oxygen and flammable volatiles.
