Chengdu - Kunming Railway is a traffic artery in the southwest of China. It runs through the eastern part of the Hengduan Mountains and wanders in the size of Liangshan. It passes through a typical area where debris flows are concentrated, frequent and complete, and are endangered. A total of 249 debris flow ditches are distributed over a range of about 74 km in length from the Shawan Station to the southern section of the Chengcheng-Chengbei-Kunming Railway. The railway department has built 221 structures of various types in these debris flow ditches.
