1991年6月在北京召开中国机械工程学会第六次代表大会暨55周年年会。会议期间将举行“国际机械工程学术研讨会”。会议主题是:“当代机械工业的水平和发展趋势”。会议主要宗旨是掌握世界机械工业的最新成果,研究发展趋势,为正确制定我国发展战略提供参考依据,推动我国机械科技进步和设计、制造、管理水平的提高,从而提高产品水平、质量和可靠性,提高企业的经济效益,增强我国机电产品在国际市场的竞争能力。论文要求结合中国情况,联系世界水平,在分析水平和趋势的基础上,对宏观综合方面或某一专业领域方面的发展具有指导意义。要反映我国和我学会工作的成就,内容精炼实际,有一定典型事例。对于国内在一定规模的专业范围内有影响的高水平的科研成果,也可写专题性的论文,但其内容应深入浅出。
