李学梅在国画家里面算是特立独行的,这样说的原因有三:其一、斗室之内,潜心作画二十余年,近乎隔离状态,读书、创作、思考,成为她的生活常态;其二、于工笔与写意之间,李学梅历经“师古、师自然、师心”三个阶段的磨砺,终究找到自我,是传承中的突破,是继承上的发展,是有着鲜明个性的思想与艺术上的体验。其三、无功利心的创作实践,使得李学梅更加接近艺术的本真。最起码,这样的创作心态,一直令她很安静,甚或是散淡与闲适的。
Li Xuemei is regarded as a maverick in the painter of the country.
