一、长江航运现状长江横贯我国中部,全长5,590公里。支流南北辐辏,通航河流有340余条,通航里程有56,300公里,其中通航轮船里程为16,000公里。近几年来长江货运量的增长极为迅速。加以1950年为100%,至1954年已达657%,平均每年约增139%;再以货运周转量看,1954年为1950年的529%,平均每年增加107%。现在,长江的货运量约占全国内河总货运量62%,占全国铁路总运输量的33%。随着国民经济的发展,要求长江担负更重大的任务。根据初步计算,1962年长江的货运量将增加到3,200余万吨,约为1956年的3倍多,至1967年将比现在增加5倍。这个要求,对长江来说,它确有可能
