Objective: To investigate the expression of CD45RO in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and its clinical significance, and to provide new ideas for the prognosis assessment of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and to provide a theoretical basis for its biological therapy. Methods: Fifty cases of primary laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma were diagnosed and surgically treated in our hospital from January 2010 to December 2012. Another 10 cases of normal laryngeal mucosa for control analysis. All specimens were fixed with 10% formaldehyde, embedded in paraffin, sliced. The positive expression of CD45RO was detected by immunohistochemistry and hematoxylin and eosin staining, and the relationship between the expression of CD45RO and clinicopathological features of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma was analyzed. Results: The positive rates of CD45RO in normal tissues and laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma were 30% and 86% respectively. In 50 cases of laryngeal cancer, CD45RO was negatively correlated with lymph node metastasis (r = -0.713, P <0.05), negatively correlated with tumor size (r = -0.750, P < Pathological differentiation, clinical stage no significant correlation. Conclusion: ①The expression of CD45RO in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma is higher than that in normal laryngeal mucosa; ② Overexpression of CD45RO may reduce the regional lymph node metastasis; ③ Overexpression of CD45RO may be beneficial to the prognosis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma; ④ The traditional UICC -TNM staging, histological grading assessment of prognosis is different, through the detection of CD45RO from another point of view to assess the prognosis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.
