１９９８年，武钢２２家全资子公司共拥有固定资产５２．９２亿元．其中，青山地区２０家全资子公司拥有固定资产５０．４８亿元，占武钢固定资产２４４．９０亿元的２０．６１％，但其外销收入仅为武钢销售收入的６．３７％．亏损达６．６９亿元．武钢全资子公司还没有真正成为武钢新的经济增长点．
In 1998, 22 wholly owned subsidiaries of WISCO totally owned 5.292 billion yuan of fixed assets. Among them, 20 wholly-owned subsidiaries of Castle Peak area owns fixed assets of 5.048 billion yuan, accounting for 20.61% of WISCO's fixed assets of 24.49 billion yuan, but its export revenue is only 6.37% of WISCO's sales revenue. Loss of 669 million yuan. A wholly owned subsidiary of Wuhan Iron and Steel has not really become a new economic growth point.
