20世纪五十年代至七十年代是中国美术现实主义规模空前的发展阶段。以徐悲鸿、蒋兆和为开山人的写实水墨人物画成为中国画发展的重要里程碑,“而马振声则是其学生辈中影响较大的画家”。他是“文革”前蒋兆和先生唯一的一位研究生,在表现中华民族浩然正气的历史题材上享有极高的赞誉。他提倡人物画要传神、写心,人非山石草木,是有思想、有感情、有神采、有性格、有精神灵魂的。画家的情感必须通过与所表现的人物内心世界产生共鸣才能抒发个人的胸中之气。
From the 1950s to the 1970s, the scale of Chinese art realism was unprecedentedly developed.
