研究了CO与氦和氮混合物工作的低温脉冲电离CO激光器的阈值、能量、时间和光谱特性。实验装置的激活体积~5升,激发的持续时间30~300微秒,工作气体的密度≤1.5阿码。表明,激活介质冷却温度80~100K时,放大率可以增加到1.5×10-2厘米-1,能量密度增加到~100焦耳/(升·阿码),效率达到35%。当密度为0.5阿码时,辐射能量达到~250焦耳,而密度1.5阿码时,为400焦耳。在4.95~5.5微米的波段中观察了振荡。在增加泵浦能量和缓冲气体的浓度时,振荡光谱移向短波段。在固定激发脉冲的持续时间~100微秒时,将氮混合物中CO的浓度减少到2.5终,可以使辐射脉冲(半高度)的持续时间从~100微秒(纯CO的)增加到~3亳秒。理论计算结果和其他作者的实验数据进行了比较。
