Computer culture values the importance of backing up precious documents and photos on CDs or other media by scanning, believing paper documents may be damaged or even discarded, but the scanned documents are stored permanently. It is a bit biased to hold this view, especially when colleagues in administrations, patrons and archives agree with this view, in part because of the digitization itself. Digitization is an activity carried out in archives and libraries where the capacity for public sharing and advocacy needs strong support from authorized agencies and administrative officials. The job of archivists is to provide proof of human history and save it
