本组在讨论中绝大多数代表同意要点报告中选择三斗坪作为三峡坝址的意见,认为目前已有足够的资料可以肯定三斗坪坝址而否定南津关坝址。首先,在工程地质水文地质方面,三斗坪坝址位于坚硬的火成岩区,主要工程地质问题是风化壳和破碎带问题。而根据大量的勘探资料证明,在选定的坝址区内,风化壳一般约二、三十公尺,不算太厚,并且(?)有发现深厚的风化囊。破碎带一般胶结较好,倾角很陡(60°~80°),对坝的沉陷影响较小,因而也比较容易处理。而南津关坝区则位于石灰岩区,完整而坚硬的石灰岩虽然也可以作为大坝的基础,但南津关坝区有严重的喀斯特和构造问题。坝区内广泛分布着喀斯特溶洞及裂隙,在很深的地层里还大量存在,而且很多地下溶洞及喀斯特
